Step up for Anastasia

Help Anastasia find her independence

Four-year-old Anastasia is a bright and bubbly girl living with cerebral palsy and seizures, causing her to fall up to thirty times a day.

Anastasia has been waiting for specialised steps to help her with a task most of us think nothing about – washing her hands. Seizure induced falls can make most simple tasks dangerous and these steps would make the world of difference to Anastasia’s progress and happiness.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected most supply chains across the globe. And specialist equipment to help people living with a disability is no different.

Anastasia should be able to develop independence and feel proud of herself when she is ready – not when her equipment is.

To combat these and other delays, Ability WA is building a loan library of equipment and toys for children, so they don’t have to wait.

You can make a difference to a child waiting for equipment, just like Anastasia. Your tax-deductible gift will help Ability WA purchase equipment that can be provided to children when they need it, regardless of NDIS funding or shipping delays.

Children like Anastasia will face many challenges in life, but this is one that we can do something about.

Please make your tax-deductible gift today, to buy the equipment she urgently needs.
