Social activities for adults with disabilities
The Achieve Program runs daytime Monday to Friday and offers structured, centre-based activities with one-on-one support. The program is focused on learning outcomes and developing social connections. Popular activities include cooking classes, arts and crafts, gardening, meditation, dance classes, music therapy, and woodwork. Social activities may be hosted at community venues or Ability WA Achieve Hubs with fully accessible changing facilities, including hoists.
We can provide a transport service to and from your Achieve Program, while your support worker can assist you at home at the start or end of your day with personal care, meal preparation or other household tasks. Support is provided for a minimum 4-hour period.

Assistance with daily living and access to the community
If you’re looking for a support worker to assist you with whatever you need, the Access Program is here for you. The Access Program provides one-on-one assistance from a support worker with daily living tasks and to access your community.
A support worker can come to your home and provide assistance with personal care, shopping, paying bills, cooking, cleaning, going to appointments, running errands, and accessing your community. We usually recommend having a team of at least two regular support workers; that way when one staff has time off, the other team member can still assist you.
Through our community disability services in the Access Program, having this support might mean you can continue living independently or with family for as long as you like in your own community. We can even provide a vehicle to access your community if you choose. Support is provided for a minimum 4-hour period.
-
Connecting with sports activities
Passion, pride, and inclusion. If you’re looking for disability sports programs, the Active Program provides one-on-one support to connect you with sports activities that excite you. Our support workers can assist you to find and connect with a new sport or club, be an active spectator or join in with a sporting activity of your choice. The Active Program mainly runs on afternoons and weekends with a 4-hour minimum period and one-on-one support. A vehicle can be provided for our disability sports programs, with door-to-door transport if you choose.
-
Finding your passion and purpose
The Aspire program will help you to find your purpose. A support worker will assist you to identify your strengths and passions, then research and explore how to turn them into your daily purpose. The Aspire Program can help you on the journey to preparing for a volunteering role, microenterprise or job. It can also assist you to develop life and social skills to help achieve your vision for your life. If you don’t have a clear vision, let's find one! Support is provided for 4 hours minimum and door-to-door transport is available if you choose.

Have an overnight break
If you are looking for an overnight stay in a purpose-built, fully accessible home with 24-hour support workers to assist you, our Staycation homes in Ballajura (for young people and adults) and Bentley (for children) are a great option. We can assist you with personal care, daily living tasks and developing life skills away from home.
