As you will know from our previous advice, the NDIS introduced prices for transport and travel services.
From 16 August 2021, Ability WA will charge a travel and transport fee of $1.90 per kilometre for a modified vehicle and $0.85 per kilometre for an unmodified vehicle.
Ability WA has covered all travel and transport costs since 1 June 2021 as we thoroughly tested the billing system.
Customers will not be charged for travel and transport services retrospectively.
We sent information to all customers about these changes earlier in the year. If you did not receive this information, please let us know by calling 1300 106 106. We list all previous customer updates on our website.
