Ability Containers for Change

Change for the better!

We’re excited to be a part of the WA Government’s Containers for Change initiative.

Ability WA has three Refund Points across Perth, where individuals, community groups and businesses can return their containers. When you return your containers to Ability WA, you are directly supporting people living with disability.

At each of our Refund Points we are employing people living with disability to be Refund Point Operators. These roles provide meaningful employment, training and career progression.

Our Refund Points

How it works

  1. Register for a scheme ID

By registering for a scheme ID your refund is automatically paid through EFT. Alternatively, you can donate your refund to us by using our scheme ID: C10282923 at any refund point.

  2. Start collecting eligible containers

From 1 October you can start collecting and receiving refunds on all eligible containers.

  3. Drop off your containers to our Refund Points

We have three drive-through Refund Points located in Bibra Lake and Midvale. Simply return your containers and we’ll process your refund on the spot.

  4. Choose to keep your refund or donate it to Ability WA

By choosing to donate your refund to Ability WA, you’re giving more Western Australian’s living with disability the chance to have meaningful employment.

Donate part or all of your refund to Ability WA by quoting our scheme ID when dropping off your containers at any refund point.
