Last Thursday, 3 May 2018 the Minister for Disability Services Honourable Stephen Dawson MLC officially opened Bradford Views.
The morning was hosted by our Acting CEO Darren Cutri and brought together Ability Centre Board Members, Bradford Views customers, their families, stakeholders and partners to celebrate this important day for Ability Centre.
Bradford Views consists of four villas, an art studio and a community centre. The three spacious villas facing Yokine Reserve are the home for 20 customers and have been designed to maximise the views onto the parkland. The inclusive design using the latest technology allows customers to participate in the day-to-day running of their home, giving them greater independence, choice and control.
Minister Dawson said, “The Ability Centre has made a real difference to the lives of people with disability, their families and carers. Bradford Views will enable the organisation to continue its outstanding work and become an even greater asset to the community and the people it supports."
