Welcoming Geoff Patching

Ability WA is pleased to announce the appointment of Geoff Patching as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary. Mr Patching brings over 20 years of experience in finance, governance, and organisational leadership to the role. 

A Chartered Accountant, Mr Patching has held senior positions across diverse sectors, including disability services, education, and banking. Notably, he served as CFO at PeopleKind Group, where he spearheaded significant organisational transformation, enhanced financial sustainability, and drove business growth.  

Mr Patching’s ability to deliver strategic financial planning makes him a valuable addition to Ability WA as it continues its mission of empowering people to realise their abilities.  

Mr Patching joins Ability WA at a pivotal moment in the organisation’s rich 70 plus year history. With the successful launch of three new hubs in 2024 which expanded the organisation’s footprint across the Perth metropolitan area, Ability WA is now poised to embark on its ambitious 2025–2027 strategic plan, setting the course for continued sector influence and positive community impact. 

With a proven track record of implementing innovative financial strategies, Mr Patching is well-positioned to contribute to Ability WA’s ongoing success.
