Our mealtime service is provided by a Senior Speech Pathologist and Dietitian, who work collaboratively to give individuals and families the best outcomes to meet their goals. They provide individualised information, advice, assessment, management, treatment and monitoring of individuals across the lifespan for a range of eating, drinking, feeding, swallowing, developmental and mealtime issues.
We are committed to working with you and your family to support decision making around mealtimes. We provide high quality evidence based best practice to ensure that your health, well-being and quality of life at mealtimes is well supported with a focus on preventation and long term health outcomes.
Our service provides a contemporary approach to help navigate mealtimes, fussy eating, selective/resistant eating, developmental feeding delays, delayed oromotor skills, developmental progression, nutritional concerns, dysphagia or swallowing difficulties, enteral feeding, maintaining independence at mealtimes, address unmet quality of life needs, supporting informed decision making/dignity of risk around mealtime preferences, positioning and equipment needs - all in collaboration with the individual/family/care support staff and their primary therapy team.
