Introducing Ability WA at Murdoch Square
Ability WA’s South Hub at Murdoch Square means customers can access comprehensive integrated support in a vibrant community setting.
The state-of-the-art South Hub has been designed to provide a full range of disability support services and includes special features like an interactive kitchen that simulates a home space for life skills development, a wet zone for arts, craft and other fun activities and an accessible gymnasium.
Murdoch Square is home to multiple medical specialists, allied health care providers and other support services, as well as short-stay accommodation options, retail stores, and cafes so customers to have the convenience of multiple health services, support providers and other amenities in one convenient location.

The South Hub is open between 8am and 5pm, Monday through to Friday, and Ability WA customers can access the buildings’ lobby and public areas between 7:45am and 5pm. The South Hub does not open on Public Holidays.

Ability WA’s South Hub is easily accessible by public transport.
The Murdoch train station is only 500 meters from the South Hub. It also serves as a bus interchange station, with buses frequently departing from the Murdoch interchange to Barry Marshall Drive. Nearby South Street and Murdoch Drive are also serviced by high-frequency bus routes.
Murdoch Square is also accessible by car with the South Street freeway entry and exit only a two-minute drive away.

There is a ticketed public car park, including accessible parking, directly beneath the building for customers and visitors.
The area surrounding Murdoch Square has multiple ticketed parking stations, as well as limited ticketed street parking. -

Ability WA will open at 8am and close at 5pm, Monday to Friday (except for public holidays). On those days, Ability WA customers can access the buildings’ lobby and public areas between 7:45am and 5pm.

Soul Origin and Sushia will be open late April at Murdoch Square, with other retail food outlets scheduled to open later in 2024. Caffisimo will also open late April, along with a coffee cart operating in the lobby of Tower B.
